I have to say I share some of Cody's concerns.
There is one thing he mentioned that makes a lot of sense. Why do we need so many boards to accomplish the same thing? I'm not saying no one but Dan should have a board, although I don't think several boards, rising from one specific board can be done without major infractions. I suppose if I was wrong, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
I sure hate to see so much seperation among so many good people especially when it was a very Good Person who brought us all together in the first place.
Scott since you brought it up about Ron saying he wasn't planning on asking for donations, I couldn't help but wonder who that was directed at. Maybe it wasn't directed at one specific board, but just in case a new member reads your post and doesn't understand, let me just say lets not forget how we the members of Dans board are the ones who encouraged Dan Flynn to except donations. Correct me if I'm wrong on this particular issue, but I believe there was a lot of prodding and pushing Dan to ask for donations and when he wouldn't ask for them, the members took it upon themselves to do it anyway.

Finally, I am very glad to know that the other folks who veered from Dan's board and started their own boards are mature and understanding. At least I know they won't be offended and will understand why I feel a sense of obligation and loyalty to Dan Flynn. I don't expect everyone to feel the same way I do about all of this, but hopefully they will understand.
