Well.. Long story there man. You’ve been around a lot so you’ll have to draw on some memory on some of this.
Now here’s the hard reason that I think he’s up to something
You remember a while back when we were all chatting about a new Organization? Well Ron was the driving force behind that. There we many interested people here that wanted to do something too, the majority wanted to set something up similar to a farmers co-op (which was suggested by Craig I believe). Ron was Thoroughly against such and Organization & most others were for it. Well that co-op idea was replaced by Ron with the idea to form a new Organization. One that would buy in bulk then distribute to the Members to pass on discounts Like his $210 3000w Generator for a skid mount (which always stroked me as odd that he wanted to help everyone soooooooo much yet he would never divulge the source for said generator? Hmmm) or discounts like his $7.50 5 gallon buckets ,, yeah that’s right a $7.50 5 gallon bucket, heh
(when I saw this I posted something to this effect “Ron is gonna save us money on all this stuff & he’s paying $7.50 for a 5 gallon bucket that I can get from Home Depot all day for $2.50” Well he later sent me an IM on aol instant messenger saying “Cody would remove that post, I am trying to set something up here…….. Then he goes on to say that it's a :Safety Bucket” What it's Orange, OK still at Home Depot for a buck more at worst! Anyhoo. I removed the post. He never did say thanks btw!)
Well after all this stuff here, people were discussing ideas for the new organization & how it would be set up. Someone post re: it being a “Non Profit” Org. & Ron follows with “No this is to be a PROFIT making org.” Well that topic went around the block several times & everytime Ron was there posting to the effect that it would make money. To myself this was not the intention that said org would be meant for, thus I concluded from all of his post (which I had gone back & read several times) that he wanted to form an organization That would make a profit and “He” would run. What does that say to you. I’m pretty sure that you were involved in all of that to & were on most occasions advocating against the same things that I was. He called me one day, I guess to try & sway me from rallying against this new Org. On this call I flat out told him that I believed that he was more interested in his own personal gain than that of the purposed members. After that he cut the call short & had to run, never to reply to my accusation Thus to me leaving me to conclude that I was right about it. There’s a lot more but I think that that sums up the jist of it.
When I was commenting toward people who frequent his forums, it was because I saw several people there that I thought realized what he was up to. Some of the folks I saw that were Mods are the same ones that were against this Org that he was trying to set up. So it just seemed odd / wrong that they would be there. Plus that fact that he was more or less railroaded off this Forum I thought by “The Man” himself, thus contributing to his forums success seems almost disrespectful to you know who.
My problem with his Org is not what you may think either btw. If someone wants to start such an organization so be it, This is America & you can do it. Grant it, myself, I would be against ANY such org since I believe that prices are too low to begin with & information is to readily available thus creating an easy in for new contractors & adding to the already growing competitive market. TO me everything should cost twice as much & info should be a bitch to get for a newbie, enabling us, “the established” to work in a more demanding market However I would not advocate against it the way I do Ron’s for the simple reason that Ron was / is tryin to do it through deceit & just trying to slide it in when nobody is looking. Don’t you see this Forum that he has started is just a step in the direction if this Org or something else that is going to “USE” it’s members to Ron’s own personal Gain.
If the irst time Ron had mentioned this idea he had said. Hey I’ll do it If I can make some scratch. I would a been cool with him. I still would have hated the idea but I would have had no problem with him. If he came out & said I’m gonna start this Forum to Make money. I would have been cool with that. But Ron is playing Chess with everyone & just not telling you that your in the game.
Now add that I was belittled by Ron on my very first post on this forum. I had offered info to someone and Ron more or less pooped all over me. So that was the start of no love for the man. Then there’s the CONSTANT badgering from Ron as to where I’m from & who I am. He really took this to the limits, basically trying to discredit me on many occasions since I would not publicly divulge my location, asthough I was here under false pretense or something. Anyway It really really got annoying. Although I have to admit I did get some satisfaction from knowing that it drove him nuts. Now, I come to find out that HE WAS HERE under False Pretense, he was using a bogus name. That’s outright deceitful don’t ya think. Why make up a last name if your on the up & up. I think it’s much better to just be Ron & let it go at that?
PS, he has a Hidden Agenda!
And Lastly, As for the Ron & Pavecleancrete schtuff. Well from the results I saw of "His". The Ron I know from his postings here he would have flamed the hell outta that product if someone else had posted those pics! Think about it.
That's it ferr now, I just got in from work & wanted to post a "quick Note" to reply to everyone. And I really did not mean to come off flaming you guys posting there, I was just suprised that's all, Many of the folks that were against him at one point are helping to line his pockets now & possibly helping him to just decieve you in the future.
