Thaks guys, I used some sodium hydroxide last night. It was a cleaner called T.T.A Roadway Cleaner, I'm not sure if anyone has heard of it. But, it worked really well. And yes I am using hot water and a surface cleaner, the Big Guy 28" from Whisper Wash to be exact. It knocks the cleaning time down significantly.
