HI, I have a Sears 580.767100 2100 PSI washer, and it seems to not maintain pressure. It uses a single nozzle, which is adjustable from high to low pressure, and can adjust from stream to fan spray.
The problem is, since day one, I would have to switch between low to high pressure (or reduce the engine speed then speed it up) to get the high-pressure to work properly. Now after lending it out, it seems to start out in high pressure, but kicks back to low pressure. The Sears manual is useless, as it does not break down the parts. I have checked the input screen, the wand, and lines for build up.
There is no place in the manual for replacing pump oil that I read about (except the engine oil), and the engine has barely 25 hours on it. Any suggestions?
