Dose any body here ever clean double hung windows from the inside. I was messing around at home and decided to try it an it is awesome. No ladders needed, no standing in the cold. I was just wondering who else does this and if it is a good or bad idea
On the rare occasion that I do a residential, I always check to see if they're double hung or not. I'd much rather clean the windows from the inside. You do have to be extra careful when working inside though. Change your water regularly, dirty water's hard to get out of carpet.

Most residential w/c'rs prefer doing second story and higher windows from the indise. There is a stand made to facilitate the procedure. If you are interested, i can provide a link. Basically, once the second windows is removed, it is placed on this stand which leans the glass back and catches the water, drains it to the bucket. many make em out of PVC and a shortend gutter drilled on one end.
