i just bought a water tank and need a water pump to push the water. just wondering what everyone else is using. i know this site pretty much has all the answers. thanks

push the water for what? Are you looking for a pressure washer, roof cleaning pump? I'm confused

I believe what he is meaning or at least what I would like to know is to push the water from a tank to a pressure washer.

A gear-drive or belt-drive pressure wash pump will "pull" the water from the tank. A direct-drive pump spins twice as fast and will not "pull" water very well, though it "pushes" it just fine.
