Which extension wands do you find the best and wehat price should I expect to pay? Seems like everyone caries them but the prices go from 90-300 dollars. Also anyone with detailed info on building one yourself? Thanks

It depends what you need it for. For most applications of cleaning a 24' from BE Pressure should work. If you are going to use the Pitch witch I reccomend the Coress wand , it is much sturdier, more money but worth it.

When I first started doing housewashing, I bought a telescoping fiberglass pole. I absolutely hate the thing. The hose twists around inside the pole, which makes the nozzle point the wrong way, the trigger is in a very bad position ergonomically, etc. I have since switched over to a long wand made of aircraft aluminum (similar to the W-15 I guess). It is very light, more controllable, and I can use a more normal trigger gun position.

I also disdain using my telescoping wand, and use aluminum wands. Northmeck255, what is aircraft aluminum. I use Al wands also, but am limited to the length I can use. Limitation for me is 14 feet using quick connects (one 8 footer, one 6 footer) and 16 feet using a screwed coupling (two eight footers). This is at 3500-4000 psi, using a 25 degree tip; can go a little longer with a 0 degree tip. What length are you using?

The max length is about 19 feet. I do this by using a six ft steel wand and quick coupling in a 12 ft aluminum wand. Can't go any longer on the aluminum or it'll break.

The Coress wand I have is in 3- 12' sections to make up 36'. Extensions can be added to make 60'.You can order it in different configurations. I use this wand with the Pitchwitch. With the right chemical mixture most two story houses can be cleaned with the original X-Jet alone. The last time I had to use a long wand on a house was to knock down a wasp next.

BILL,aircraft aluminum is a term used for 6061 t6 aluminum.
i am a hobby machinist/welder,i purchase my material through
bessemer city machine shop,(bessemmer city north carolina)
i would assume the wand would be
1/4 inch .065 6061 t6 with 1/4 pipe thread tapped on both ends.
about $19 for a 20' piece.
i thought about making an aluminum wand myself,as i now have the fiberglass telescopic,but i am leaning toward the corress as i can get it to extend as far as 60',i am starting to do shopping centers and restaraunts and i need more than 20'extensions.

Tim, Call Glenn at Ace Cleaning Service (866-788-5074) for a Coress wand. If you order it in 12' sections it has to be shipped via a trucking company. If you order it in 8' sections it can be shipped UPS a lot cheaper. I personally wanted the 3- 12' sections. Yes they are more expensive than the fiberglass wands but they are much better. I have both. When you average out the price with the money you can make with it you will be glad you spent the extra money. Remember you are only as good as the equiptment you use.
