Default extension wand failure

First off, I would like to thank all that helped me this spring get things working right, esp Mark Dadian, who is pretty close by, thank goodness.

Ok, was using my extension wand today, and it stopped working.
Had to disconnect the fitting itself to back off the pressure so I could take it off.

Any ideas what might be wrong and how to check??

thanx,
Deb

If the gun didn't release the pressure it could be broke or there could be a blockage after the gun. Maybe the tip.

In other words water is not coming out the end of the wand when trigger is pulled, check the stem where the triggers pushes it back into the gun,if you can still se the stem lay a penny between it and the trigger, pull the trigger and see if it'll work,if it does replace gun,if it doesn't it has trash inside the valve in the trigger gun,,,at least I think dat is.

Question

Maybe you have a clogged nozzle?

Sure sounds like a clogged nozzle. I have had to put a wrench on my couplers in the past to release the pressure after the gun. Was always the nozzle.
