Default Surface cleaner tip question

I have a Landa Hot water PW that is rated at 4.8gpm and a Hydrotek Hot water PW rated at 4.6 gpm.

I know the rated tip for the Hydrotek is 5 which means two 2.5 tips on teh surface cleaner.

I have a two part question here:
1- on the Landa the tip rating is 5.5 so if the surface cleaner has one tip that is 2.5 and another tip that is 3.0 which = the 5.5 isn't there a slight difference in cleaning coming out of those tips because of the different rating??

2- Would it be OK to use two 2.5 tips on the surface cleaner for the Landa even though its rated for a total 5.5?? This question may seem a little retarted because the pump rating is for a 5.5 tip but the reason why I ask is because on my Hydrotek surface cleaner there is a vavle on it to turn down the pressure which means that the pump would be putting out less then it is rated for but apparently Hydrotek doesn't think there is a problem to this because of the way they designed this surface cleaner.

Thanks

John,

Sure you can run the two "2.5 tips" if the unloader cycles open the valve a little on the surface cleaner, and it should be fine.

Thanks Mark.
I'm happy to hear that you say its OK to run those 2.5 tips on my surface cleaner. So now I can have both of my Surface cleaners with the same size tips instead of changing them out all the time and costing myself time which = money.
