    Cleaning up "fire tagging"

Try it out on a loose cinder block that way you don't need a donor wall. Dry ice blasting will easily remove the smoke or burn damage to brick / block walls.

    New rig setup with pto.

Check out our web site @ Welcome to JWS Service Systems right now we are using Freightliners and Kenworths with 20' boxes but we have made them for many other brands of trucks out there. Diesel engines are a must. If there is good fishing by you I will come do it for ya.

    Van Setup

JZ, price range is about 15,000 for a small plain jane setup on up to around 35,000 for all the bells and whistles. Yes just about any truck will work as long as the trans has provisions for a PTO. We have done them in Freighliner, KW, Mitzubishi, Bering, International, and Izuzus.

    foaming

We use Suttner ST 72 foam lance. They work really well, produces a lot of foam (we use panel bright soap) that clings to the vehicle. I especially like using it in the summer works better on bugs and does not dry as fast. It is about $100.00 only draw back it the guy foaming can not rinse...

    New truck questions

DAFF if your a 100 miles from me then your in my territory, ha ha although we do have regular runs that are about 150 miles from our shop. We have 2 T-300 Kenworths and a 1 Freightliner that carry 1200 gallons of fresh water and 400 gallons of waste our other 2cab over trucks carry 800 gallons...

    down time options

Why not just keep washing rain, snow whatever as long as it is above 25 F? We are based out of Cleveland, and so far this winter we have only missed 1 week so far (knock on wood). The weekend it started to get cold we jammed most of our weekend work in on that Thursday and Friday night, so we...

    NEW WEBSITe

I don't get why your home page has a picture of two guys in suits in a fancy office and then right below it is junky looking trailer? I would get rid of the cheesy 80's slogan of "To HOT to Handle, Too COLD to Hold". Loose the fact that you are one of only two full time PW'ers, who cares...

    Pump losing pressure mystery

Is it a belt drive or a direct drive? Sound to me like it is a direct drive which would need a pressurized water source. You may need to add a small 12v pump to supply the pump from your water tank.

    choking the 20 hp honda

I have a 15 HP Kawasaki on one of my mowers and you only have to choke it on the first start up when cold. After that it will start with out choke all day long, maybe they already took out the whatyacalit at the factory.

    Insurance

When comparing insurance quotes you need to look at your own sales or payroll. That is what they base your premium on, and that’s why they audit you every year to make sure they are charging you the most that they can. So when someone brags about their $500 - $600 policy, chuckle cause you...

    Start-up PWing in Hawaii

Do not skip the "possibly insurance" part, that is a must and not even a question of whether or not you should get it. I would look for a pressure washer with an engine and belt drive rather than an electric unit. You may limit the work you will be able to do if there is no electricity...
