Default Stains on dryvit

I have been asked to clean a dryvit sided building with stains coming from under the window frames:

You have to look pretty close to see them. They want two seperate quotes.........one for cleaning just under each window, and one for cleaning the entire building.

Am I wrong in thinking it would not look right if you just tried to clean under each window? Shouldn't the whole building be done, for uniformity? The building is not dirty at all.......just those stains.

Also, what type of chemical would you suggest to remove these stains on the first try?

Hi That stain is prob. rust from the wrong kind of hardwear used in the window install.
Go to www.dryvit.com they recondmend Sure Kleen products. I have tried some of them and some will work, some wont depends on the source of the rust. Also it will come right back after the 3rd rain. i have also thought the stains were caused by electostatis [the same thing that causes black streaks on gutters] and tried gutter zap and alum. brightner niether worked TEST TEST TEST then offer no garentee on them staying clean Sure Kleen is made in NJ. USE NO PRESSURE If you cant find a chem to clean it and wash it off with a garden hose then it cant be cleaned. If you do find a chem. please post it. thanks

Hey Mike,
I just did an older stucco building that had really bad black streaks coming down from the roof flashing. I tried several things and ended up using Castrol super clean 1:1 and did a little brushing. The owner was very thrilled with the results.
