Question Need advice please help

I just went and looked at a job to give a bid on. I would like some advice on. It is a storage faclity that has 23 buildings they want the gables (46) and all the doors (494) washed 160 doors are 5x10. 104 doors are 10x10. 50 doors are 10x16, 60 doors are10x20, 50 doors are 10x24, 35 doors are 10x30, 35 doors are 10x10. They want all the facial boards done also. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. If I get this bid right they have 17 more facilities they want done also so this could be alot of work for me. Thanks in advance.

I love this business

I have never made a bid for this many building but I think I would bid per foot. Do about a hour test for them for free and show them what you can do and find out how much you can do per hour. By the number of doors there is about 6000 feet plus the gables at 10 feet high. If you can do 80feet of an hour, .75 per foot would give you about $60 an hour.
Sounds like a good job to be doing when the weather starts to cool off. You will not have the water flying so high

Morgan,

That sounds like a great opportunity........and I like the idea of doing a small trial run to get a feel for it.

Do yourself a favor and dont let the promise of further facilities lower your rate.................some places will hang that over your head to get a lower price, with no intentions of contracting any cleaning at the other locations...........believe it when you see it.
