Default Extension Wands

Hello All Pw readers.

I am in the market to purchase a 24' extension wand. Let me give you my experience with my last job.

I purchased a 6-18' yellow extension wand( I cant remember the brand as I post), I was using it to pw a few homes last weekend. I notice that its hard to lock and unlock the twist collar mechanism with wet or soapy hands, on top of that I spent more time constantly re-alining the nozzel to be inline with the trigger gun whenever I pull and release the trigger. This increased the the time on the job. I noticed a 24' Extendawand that is Blue and mfg with a flip lock and been mfg to constanly have the nozzel and the trigger gun in line. Has anyone used the Extendawand Blue and how do you think this compares to the yellow extension wand. I need to purchase a wand by the weekend, so a response is critical.

Thanks in advance

Degraff,

I am an Extendawand Dealer, and have not heard of a "Blue Fliplok Extendawand" they have a yellow FlipLok wand however.

We had a contest on the PWN a few monts back for one of these wands.... it was won by Cody!

The extendawands are very nice, I own two of them. In fact, I sold some of my old fiberglass wands because I don't like them anymore.

It is true that the extendawands keep the nozzles pointed in the right direction, which is invaluable.

A 24' wand, no matter what brand, can be challenging to use fully extended. If you have to do that, be sure to install a nozzle that
reduces the pressure to somewhere under 1000psi. Proper detergents should allow you to clean without having to use high pressure.

Mark can help you with that.

Good luck!
