I am looking for some ideas I can do to generate somes business. I just wrote a little email saying who I was, what I do, and how I'd like to help. And sent it to every realtor I could find in my town. Any other little ideas would be apreciated.

Use the computer and make up some brochures. Be careful about sending unsolicited e-mail, call them first and make sure they want the information before you send it. I think unsolicited e-mail is against the law but I know it is annoying for everyone. You can make a brochure about your company on your computer and have 1,000 printed at Kinko's for about $100 and folded too. Then go out and give them out along with demos. Make the cold phone calls and mail them to people if they are interested. A lot of people have had me e-mail my brochure to them. All I do is scan it. Can also fax it to them.

Best of Luck

Cool

We wash fleet vehicles. When we first started, we sat down with the yellow pages and called every trucking company, distributor, etc. Out of around 50 listings, we made 5 visits. Out of those 5 we got 4 accounts. We still have 3 of those original accounts (no one is washing the 4th now). Out of those 3 accounts, we have gained more work than we can handle from word of mouth. My point is, start with what you have, do excellent work at a fair(but not cheap) price and you will soon have more work than you can do. Good Luck!

I have to agree with the other guys on their answers, also if you can afford to, The Yellow Page ad I have is awesome. I started with a small ad and only 2 books in my area. I already had one commercial acct and I figured that what I make from one store that I do monthly would be my ad budget for that. I pay about $280.00 a month for 2 books, covering about 20 cities. The first month it came out I did about $10,000 ......so I am believer. Definitely offer a good job at a fair price and be Honest. I also found that just knocking on doors of homes in associations (the ones that are dirty of course) has got me alot of work. Offering package deals to associations works good too.Well Good luck!! What ever you do, this is the most important advice you will ever get. (Be consistent at what ever you do.)
Whether you fax, e-mail, visit, demo, direct mail, tiny ads, word of mouth & personal selling. Personal selling has always worked best for me. I have done all of these and more and to this day I still do all of them. My best results are when I’m consistent!!!!!!!!!!!! Be consistent. Consistent, consistent, consistent.

I have some more great ideas that are not mentioned. call me if you want (anyone can call ,not trying to be selfish too much typing.) 888fleetwash ron m. wish I had time to answer more post.
