Default How did YOU get started?

Im contemplating starting a small powerwashing business, sidewalks, driveways, decks, fence, etc. Im just looking for some insight on things to do, things not to do, etc.
Id like to get started with residential stuff, then get some commercial contracts, etc.
I figure, its best to price by the square foot on some things, and flatrate for others? If you cant tell, im not too familiar iwth this... but looking to hear how you got started, how things are going and how long you have been going at it. You can never hear too many success stories.
Would a craftsman 2900 washer be ok for starting out... id like to get set up wtih a trailer mounted hot water washer if/when things pick up.

Hello Anthony247,

If you ever get up my way stop in and I show you around.
Can't help you about the Craftsman machine.

I invite you to visit my web site to get some ideas. http://www.tps-inc.com

If you're really interested in getting into this business, I suggest that you look around your area for someone that has a going business that wants to sell out. Get customers along with equipment.
