Default Is He Kidding?

ok this might need to be moved to the joke forum lol

yesterday a guy called me and said he needed his fuel tank power washed
i was like ok no problem
found out he wanted the inside done not out side
i was like (this is gonna be tuff) but ok no problem
then i found out it wasn't the tanker part of the semi but the actual fuel tank for the semi he wanted cleaned.
i thought to me self ok is he kidding this has to be a prank
but the guy was dead serious lol
has any one heard of this
he said he got some dirt in it and wanted to clean it out . . . i'm not a trucker but i think i would rather have dirt in my fuel than water lol i dunno thats just me!!! lol got a good laugh out of it

So you have him drain his tank, and disconnect the line from the tank to the filter, or you do it and charge for it too and then you rinse it out for him. You can use a shop vac on the discharge side to blow out the residual water.
You make it clear that he is the one to confirm the tank is dry before refueling and off you go.

Quick and easy money.

With new fuels that are now EPA mandated you will find fuel tank problems all over the place. Boats are prone to gum from the ethenol in the gas that cleans the sides of the tanks. Also the new ethenol has been found to have sulfuric acid in 300-400ppm that may etch fuel injectors and carbs as well as fuel pumps. Only problem is what to do with the drained fuel. Disposal is hard to find and you can not just drain onto the ground.
