Default need help finding a web-site

I am in the process of restoring a 1949 studebaker champion suicide doors.

I have looked around for different sites but cant find any that really helps me.

I am going to shave the door handles ..........and go with a keyless entry

and as well as doing my own uphosterly work.

SO I need info. on tools/ fabric, for the uphosterly ( where 2 buy ) and as well as the key-less entry parts.

Not too mention facts about the studey and studey parts.

Yeah i know .........................but lets see what you can find!

Thanks

Dan,

Once upon a time, I had visions of restoring a 1940 Studebaker Commander that occupied my driveway. I was too young and the car was too old. Hemmings for parts, Studebaker Drivers Club for parts and support and VISA! Good luck.

Dan, I know NOTHING about antique car restoration. This may be a moot point by now, but I read your post and then did a Yahoo search on "restoring studebaker cars", and "studegarage.com" came up. I didn't go any farther than the homepage, but it looked like it contained alot of information. Maybe that'll help you.

John that studey club is awesome.

So much info. my brain is about to explode..LOL

I joined their BB and it is very informative and tons of pics. Thanks for the tip.

I have been working on this thing for about 2 weeks last week I spent @ least 3 days and nights in my garage not getting to bed untill 3 in the am hours. I am gonna pull the engine so I can do a re-build and paint the firewall and inner fenders.

I bought myself a new mig welder w/gas and boy OH boy it welds mighty fine.

Can I see it? e-mail me your home town/city name so I can look around.

I'm going to haveta build another shop before I can restart my toy building,my business took the other one away from me.Roosters are roosting on the 49 ford 1 ton sideboards so I'm haveta do something before long or start hauling chicken chit with it.

Cool Dan, Try These Guys:

This site is full of extraordinary help with antique autos. My dad is a huge fan and says there doesn't appear to be anything somebody here isn't an expert on. Hope this helps.
