Hello everybody!
I just have a quick question. I have a customer that wants a semi-transparent deck stain that matches her house( kind of a light tan) and I have a brochure from Cuprinol that has one premixed that is close to the color she wants. Do alot of you use or have used Cuprinol products? Good/Bad, easy to work with? etc. Or should I just have some oil-based stain mixed up in the color she wants? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have used Cuprinol in ths same situation you are in.
It went on easy enough and dried fantastic, looked great.
But, while applying it it was nowhere near the color it was suppose to be, very milky...scared us the first time.
But once it set-up it was a dead match.
And the color does take a day or two to finish toning down.
(As the can says)

Hope this helps...Basically, I liked it and would use it again, but still stick to my other products that I know better and have been using longer.

I used the Pastel White solid stain Cuprinol. I put down two coats and was beauitful. Homeowner loved it. Was easy to put down with a brush and roller. STill want to know how it will be this time next year. Supposedly has a mildewcide in it. We'll see!
