All that I do is commercial fleets and Government contracts. Since most of my customers come by personal sales and bid I don't have a sign on my truck. I might put one on one day though. I don't especially want those that have to call me to see if I will wash their trucks. I would rather prequalify and pick my clients. Besides, there are some people that try to follow me to see who my customers are, if you know what I mean.

Scott,

If you really want to go unnoticed, you need to get yourself an enclosed trailer and hide all of that equipment. But, I'm sure an enclosed trailer is not very feasable or necessary in AZ!

Mike,
I have considered an enclosed trailer. I decided that for a variety of reasons it would not work for me. Although, I have to admit that there are a lot of things that are appealing to me about them. Having towels out of the weather, and shelves for storage are just a couple.

Jon,
You don't know how hard and long I had to talk to get the wheels on the truck. My CFO did notthink they were necessary. Of course, she has had wheels on her van since the day it was new.

She claims it is something about four kids, piano lessons, Swim team, soccer, clothes (cute ones) and food. I am sure that Remy has introduced you to this method of thinking sometime in the past 30 or so years.;)

Scott,

You could always put a nice cap on your truck to keep some stuff out of the weather......some of them don't look too bad....

There are two things that you can't see to prevent me from putting on a cap. The first is that there is an auxiliary fuel tank mounted in the bed of my truck. The other is that I do have a tool box on the trailer that is weather tight that holds stuff that I don't want out in the weather.

I have thought about converting a one ton truck to a self contained unit with a shell, and a water tank. The only thing that keeps me from doing it is that I need a tank for water recovery, and I have accounts where I have to have a tank, and recovery water just does not do it.
