you read my mind regarding the posting of the above information. I did receive the AP article that you mention above and was going to post this exact same information.

Certainly the 'California Wash & Capture Symposium' at the end of May could not have come at a better time. I invited some washers down in the Bay Area to this via email and posting on the different BBS's but we will see who shows up.

It is my belief right now that S. Calif. will be the first to issue water restrictions however I can't help but look at the 'brown hills' that are usually green in my neck of the woods.

RFW and the UAmCc will keep this in the forefront.

These statements that the public sees are the single largest alert to power washers making a stink on how IMPORTANT our services are. We are crucial to keeping run-off as clean as possible, otherwise, groundwater becomes contaminated. Get in front of this problem!! It is NOT fun trying to survive a drought with uniformed decision makers and paranoid property owners!!!

Take heed to what Celeste says because it is all 100% true. I have already been in contact with a few washers in the Bay Area and this topic will remain as a very important topic for the washing industry.

Mark we don't have it as bad as you guys do as of right now, Only lawn watering 2 days a week and we have had that for about 4 years now, but as far as other restrictions this year so were OK so far. We had a nice winter a little over ave. but better then last year. But all it takes is one bad winter and they will put them in affect, we have had them here before in past years.

So for now were OK, but will see in a month or so of summer time heat to see how much the usage is and go from there. But I do have the system for it and I think I'm the only one in this area ready for what they throw at me
