I am buying an 8 gallon per minute machine and looking to downstream houses. What is a good house wash recipe for this? I have been usingthe xjet for many years now and tired of carrying buckets around. My mix right now is 1/2 gallon of citriclean, 1 gallon of 12.5% and the rest water, xjetting with a 4.8 gpm machine.

Can't help you with the Citriclean part, but, you should be able to use 9% SH while downstreaming with 8 gpm. I use a 2.3 downstreamer and downstream either 9 or 12.5%.

I mix my "recipe" in 15 gallon drums and add a 3' plastic pipe to the end of the downstreamer hose, so that the hose doesn't coil in the drum. TIP: After downstreaming, put the pipe in your water tank to flush the line and downstreamer out after each use. Your downstreamer will last a lot longer and you won't have to wait as long for the pressure hose to run clear.

Good to see you still around John
