    Full or Part-Timer?

I started doing this when I was 19 (22 now) full time (Being I had no job). Unfortunately I was too immature and started out with little money. So I didn't do so well. When I turned 20 I was working on pool tables and did it then too. I started taking off and making more than I was making a...

how do you manage yor nozzles?

I wear Cargo shorts that have side pouches. I normally put them in there. I keep a Bleach nozzel and a 45degree white nozzle. They don't bother you but will stain your shorts pretty bad. Also because of the pockets wide opening they are easy to grab.

    Honda Motor Problem

I think it was Bad Gas Actually I think your right. When I was in the hospital my friend was tuning up my pressure washer for me. And resealing the tank. But when I refilled my tank all the way up it was with a gas container I had at my house. Which sat there stagnent for a month while I...

Check out my flyers! (Need Feedback)

Looks great I wish I could make my flyers as nice as that. Also I'd keep the number tear offs. Most people don't carry a pin and paper into stores and if they do. They usually don't like taking them out. That way all they have to do is tear them off. I myself have never had much...

    Honda Motor Problem

That is what is odd I just went through everything about 2 weeks ago. New fuel filter. New spark plug. We cleaned out the carb. And I cleaned and resealed my gas tank. Not to mention the filter which takes in the fuel inside my gas tank is brand new. Which is why it was bringing me to...

    Honda Motor Problem

Ok. This is weird. Yesterday while pressure washing a house and driveway my motor started acting up. It would almost bog down in a sense while I was pressure washing the driveway. Almost dying at some points. But as soon as I let off the wand it would pick back up. Now I never really...

What's the best chem. for vinyl siding?

I use bleach Just regular store bleach. It seems to work well for Vinyl. I've never had any problems with it. And it kills Mold, Mildew, and other stuff. It also brightens the house up too. There is other stuff out there. But that seems to work for me so I stick with it.

    Opinions please..........

$1,800 start up Sounds like a great deal. Though I don't know anything about a Coleman Powermate. Is it belt driven or direct drive? I got my setup for $1,200 from a friend. 2 PWs, 1Driveway Cleaner, 2 Hose reals, wands. With some good High Pressure Hose. The other hose on the other real...

    Experience

Back to the original Question I guess by asking if we had any prior experience with pressure washing is that "Did we work for a Pressure Washer?" My answer is no. I bought the equipment without even fireing it up. It belonged to a friend and I have seen it work before. And I knew he...

    little help

I have to agree with Aplus. I'd be too scared to have my gun on wide open. Suppose you are using an extension wand and you suddenly have it get too close to window or the siding. Which will happen from time to time. You have to be able to let go of that trigger quick. Otherwise you'll be...

    How did you start out????

Hey Dave Pretty interesting. I guess you have been doing pressure washing since I was born. Which makes me kind of wonder. Who was the first pressure washer. As in someone who washed houses with a powered water hose so to say. I wonder how far back it goes. I would guess to WW2. Or...

    How did you start out????

What got you into Pressure Washing? Or Deck work or even Window cleaning? Also what equipment did you start out with. Or are you still in the start out process just as I am. But did you start out with a small Briggs and Stratton. Or did you get a business loan and go full blast with a new...

    Babble or Not?

I remember learning about this. I think it was on TLC or something. But the human will group things. Cause if you think about it. If we looked at everything individually we would go insane. Cool example.

    MDS Pressure Washing

When I was 13 I started racing BMX. I think I was in 7th grade then. That was in I guess 1997. I raced until I turned 16. What happened? I got a car and discovered Girls!!! So I had a choice between Women and Bicycles. I'm sure most of you can figure out which one I went for. When I...

    Comment and question

Put a hitch on that B..... Starting out it is going to be very hard to look "Profesional". I would love to get a $15,000 hot water system enclosed trailer with a 500gallon water tank. Along with my brand new 4 door Nissan Titan. Or like the guy who taught me how to pressure wash with one of...

    Decks

Even though your talking an untreated deck. I will testify for a chemical I got from Sunbrite for when you want to wash treated and stained wood but not strip the finish off. I believe it is called safewash or something like that. I got it from Sunbrite in Lawrenceville, Ga. The guy there...

Is there such thing as too much Power???

Thanks for the info. I tried to find the nozzle chart. I can't seem to find it. But basically am I looking for a larger "orafice". I remember at Northern Tool I saw a WHITE tip that had an orafice of 7.5. The guy at Sun Brite showed me a chart that recomended for my pressure washer to...

    Growing into Your Equipment

Funny thing. I did a pressure washing job for a foundation of a house which caught fire. I pressure washed the foundation walls and the floor. They needed it cleaned so they can do tests to see if the foundation was salvagable. It was also my highest paying job so far. $315. It was a tough...

    In mail advertising???

As a small business and new one I'm trying to find new ways to market my business. And most importantly get my name out. (Seems that the bigger or older businesses don't even advertise once they get established) One way I thought about is in-mail advertising. As in those booklets with all...
