Amazing Customer Today

Just had a positive day with a client down towards Santa Cruz. Often times we start threads when a customer and or their expectations goes sideways. Anyway, went down with the rig in hand with the intention of bidding on a house wash and starting the work the same day. Showed up half hour early as I normally try to do when I book appointments.

House was a typical small 2 story vinyl house. Algae, dirt and ...well...you name it..it was on the house. Gave the guy a quote and he said go for it. I could tell him and his wife were a little skeptical as to whether or not we could get it clean. As I was setting up, they explained that they could not find anyone in the area that they felt comfortable with and that I was their last hope and appreciate me driving the 1.5 hours to attempt to get it clean.

Anyway long story short, once I jetted the chems on the house the "funk" just starting melting off as I figured it would. Their mouths just dropped and the guy patted me on the back and said let 'em know when I was done. Started at 9 and was finished around 11'ish.

They came out as I was wrapping things up and insisted that I have lunch with them. It has been my experience but I don't get a lot of customers asking to take me out for lunch. Anyway, went to a nice place down the street....of course when I pulled out my credit card to pay for all of us they again insisted that this was their treat. Now mind you, my bid was high compared to what I normally get for wash job similar to this. Lunch was great..spent an hour of so just listening to them talk about their retirement and etc. After lunch we went cruising around in the toy in the pic for about a half hour...I think the guy wanted to impress me. Those new Dodges have some "Kick" to it and the paint job is all custom.

Back to the house and they did their walk thru. They were impressed to say the least or at least that is what they said. Handed me a check with a $100.00 tip and shook my hand and said, "We are so fortunate to have met you Carlos....Job well done!".
