Caustic Based Chemical Ready For Intro.

I am a hood cleaner that has been doing this for around 4 years. I was taught by my exfather-inlaw and used a powder caustic and a industrial strength degreaser. I have been introduced to a chemical that is 35% caustic by volume and bio-degradable. The hood cleaning chemical is a gel form, which allows it to stick to the hood and do its magic. It is easily applied with a back pack sprayer or a home depot sprayer. This chemical doesn't try to remove the grease by heat but it pulls the oil out of the grease and will start running off the hood before you even start to pressure wash. It takes around two-three gallons to do the whole system from the fan, duct, and hood (approx. 15ft. hood with one fan.) This chemical is very strong in non deluted form. It not only does one heck of a job, it is very time saving. We also have the same chemical in degreaser form which we apply with spray bottles and used to wipe the hood down. After degreasing the hood, we make it polish with our special Stainless Steel Polish. These are the chemicals I use every day and I will never use any other. The chemical is made by a PHD chemist. Contact Dan for more info. rstrntsol1@yahoo.com or 251-239-9050. Please leave a message if no one answers.

Sounds like a commercial with no contact info. Do a search for some of the other sites where the hood cleaners hang out. How about your name - email, phone # to contact you. Sounds like a product that's made in Denver which does pretty much the same thing.

Chemical is one

This chemical was made four years ago and is not anywhere on the market that I can find. I am an IKECA member and have been looking for this everywhere and anywhere. This formula was made from scratch and will not damage the metal no matter how long you let it sit. As long as you don't let is dry on the metal of course. U cann't let it set on aluminum because of the deoxiganizing process of caustic. Where is the website for more hood cleaning chat forums or the Chemical that is in Denver. I would like to see it and check it out. THANK YOU [hello]

I have tried this chemical and it does exactly what Daniel says it does. Very good dwell time and very easy to apply. Several exhaust cleaners are using this product with very good results.
