If your talking about the general pump "hammerhead" surface cleaner it works great. I've had this surface cleaner for about a year now. The only problem I have with it is the trigger handel. With pressure on the lines the trigger will not put enough pressure on the piston to open it. I used zipties to keep the trigger in the ON position, and I have a ball valve to turn the pressure off. I really like the swivel the hammerhead has, it's built very well. The hammerhead is also cheap, about 300 to 400 dollars for the 20 inch. My next surface cleaner will be a 30 or 36 though.

What about if I replace the gun think that will help out in the long run but hey to save some money a zip tie sounds good to me

You could replace the gun, but I bet it would only be a matter of time before it failed too, unless it was a different kind. Make sure you get the right size nozzle tip, mine came with 1502's I think; left streaks everywhere till I put the right tips on. As long as you have a ball valve, the zip ties work fine. Infact, when I buy a new one, I'll prob. put zip ties on it as well - easier on the hands.
