Need some help

One unit we have is a 4000psi 4.0gpm. It has an 18hp Kohler. What would it take to transform this into a two man operational unit ? My thinking tells me to of course change the pump to a higher rated gpm. But what else will I need to change ? Will the 18hp Kohler be enough power to run a higher rated pump ?

Any help will be appreciated.

You could probably run around 8 GPM @ 2470 PSI,

I would need to check the figures but I think that would fly!

You can get an approximate idea by multiplying GPM X PSI then dividing by 1100 for gas engines.

Mark's suggestion sounds pretty good, however if your pump or engine go down you now have two guy's standing around.Buy another engine and pump. Invest in your business, invest in your equipment , write it off in your tax's and become the best,most proffesional powerwasher in your area. Let those who compete against you tremble when they see you roll by.
