Hi Chris, thanks for the invite, nice to know you are nearby.
Got a question for you, we are new to this area, Naples, Fl and advertising is a whole different ball game down here, it is all, or mostly word of mouth. Now that is great and all but we need more customers so they can spread the word. We also moved down in November, so a lot of our customers were snow birds who have mostly now gone back home.
My question is how or where do you advertise to the locals, we are discussing an ad in the yellow pages, but that is not out until October, we have an ad in the local free paper. We want to go round and leave flyers on peoples doors, but nobody will tell us straight if we can do this or not.
Also, when you want to carry out work on a community, do you go through the property manager or the association president? And how do you find out who the association president is?
Sorry for all the questions, just word of mouth advertising was great when all the snowbirds were here, it was spreading between them but now they have gone it is like starting again.

By far the best ROI for your advertising dollars would be getting a web site. More and more people are finding what they need on the web. Other things that you can do are Mailers(i.e.postcards), fliers, door hangers and networking with other professions. Attend a real estate investors meeting, see if there is a BNI chapter in your area, look for any local business clubs. These are great for landing commercial accounts.

If you don't build a web site now at least get the domain. WashAndGlow.com is taken but it looks like WashAndGlowLLC.com is available.

Welcome to the US and Welcome to the business world. Love your business name by the way.

Hi Pat, will certainly be looking into this. As I said we have just moved to Naples, we had a website in Orlando but the area name was in the web address so we had to cancel it when we moved down here.
WashAndGlowLLC.com sounds good.
So if we were to get this web address could you give us a few tips on the design?
