Pressure Washer tilted now won't start

I don’t know who to ask and am in a bind. My pressure washer turned over on its side inside my trailer on a trip to a job site. Now it won’t start. The pulley is jammed and preventing it from starting. Is there a safety valve that prevents the pulley from pulling the engine to start? Also, there is gas in the air filter and I drying that out. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Derek Caldwell

It sounds like the cylinder is full of gas or oil. Pull the spark plug and then pull on the rope several times to clear it out. You should change the oil as well to make sure gas didn't get into the oil.

Derek,

Larry is right on the money here! [hello]

You might also need to replace the air filter
if it was oil soaked. [wsmile]

Thanks for the help...

You guys are great for newbies like me. I wish I could add some substance to this forum but I know nothing and am new to this business. Maybe one day I'll be able to answer a question for someone.

Thanks,

Derek

I sell pressure washers and the most common reason people bring them back is because they tip em over.

I pull the spark plug everytime and it fixes everything.
