Rust and Hard water on Drivit

Can anyone help me with getting hard water and rust stains out of drivit? I know I have to be careful about hitting it with a lot of pressure and possible soft spots, but any of you find a chemical that works best? Im using 3000psi and 180F if needed.

In the past I have used a dilute solution of SureKlean (muratic acid based) - brushed on and allowed to dwell for a minute or two, then rinse off. Could try some oxalic acid.

Sorry, that was to remove rust stains. MAY work on hard water stains, but I'd go to Walmart and pick up something for that.

www.prosoco.com ferrous stain remover contains sulfuric, oxalic, and phouspheric acids.
Your local block/brick/paver yard can get it for you.
The HF acid Bigboy suggested should work. Oxalic acid would be next on my list to try, followed by the shur-clean product.

I use some stuff called Harvey's rust remover. It comes in a powered form. I paid like $2 for it. I put it on a damp sponge and it wiped right off. I couldn't believe it worked so easy. The sponge starts to get hot it must have some kind of strong reaction with the rust. Best stuff I have ever seen. I used CLR but had to scrub and scrub and it still didn't take it all off. I bought this stuff and it worked like a dream. I bought it at Menard's. I am not sure how big that chain is. It is like a Home Depot/Lowes but on a lower scale. I hope you can find this stuff. Here is the manufacturer.

William H. Harvey Company
Omaha, NE 68117

Sorry no phone number, Good Luck
