you all no i have an inclosed trailer and i haul it w/ a FORD yeah i know.....
however when i loaded it all up w/ the p/wers
and 425 gal. of h2o it was realy hurting me, the trk. would sag and wont climb a hill.
so i checked into another trk.. wow more $$ this is what i did instead of going farther in dept. im putting 2 extra leaves in the rear --both sides w/overloads. less than 200.00$$ .changing my gears around 1500.00 .with that in mind im saving $$ dont need another trk. more licence. taxes up keep .. im just puting $$ in my 96 ford. going to make it -----------------better ,stronger ,faster ,just like the 6 million dollar man..

( once i do all this to this FORD im going to buy a bow tie emblem and change it's name to CHEVY,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,) LOL

Now, if you change that emblem to a bowtie the springs will sag, the tranny will protest and the rearend will give out. You have got to stay with the blue oval.

Dan,
You should notice a big difference with the rearend gears. When I was in High School I spent a little time at the backroads 1/4 mile. I have seen a lot of guys put serious dollars in motors, only to be beat by a stock engine with a good set of gears. If the leaf doesn't add enough lift, try air shocks or lift blocks.
