You sure do spend alot of time bashing your competitors. You don't have enough work to keep yourself busy?

Come on "fruit" leave those guys alone Who really cares?

just do your job and let those guys do their's.

I think you are just making un-needed enemies.

instead of cutting them down and calling the fire-dept. on them & since you gots lots of time why dont you help them out?

I think its nice Orange goes to the trouble of taking and posting the pictures.

Everybody isn't pro's like some of you,a newbee starting out and running the boards will see the pictures. If the guy that did the work in the pictures had seen what would happen though the boards it may have not happen.

I thought we were teachers and wanting to better our trades, you know the old saying huh.

Ha Ha Ha!! Relax...

Like Larry said, educating... Do think a Newbie is going to repeat this? Or even the dumpster incident?

These are jobs that the pros should be able to snap up, but since the customer is so dang cheap, it shows that they get what they pay for.

In the above examples, permanate damage that would cost thousands to repair.

These are examples that you can use when someone tells you that you are on crack for wanting to charge what you do.

Plus, I really am not worried about anyone approaching me because of a the little camera, it is a education tool.

If I saw the guy doing this, I would be happy to help them out, competition or not.

Strangely enough... This has been going on for two years at this one spot. The boss doesn't seem to notice or care, I guess...

I am waiting for someone to steal their P/W from the parking garage. It's not locked down or anything, it is just sitting there for the taking.

Funny, huh? Does trashy work and leaves their equipment out for anyone to pull up, hook up, and drive off.

Boggles the mind...

He'd haveta come to Arkansas to see a great job, looks as tho everybody around in his area ant worth crap.

"quote" The boss doesn't seem to notice or care, I guess""

May be new employees every week and they break them in by letting them be "in house" powerwashers for the day.

Need to look at the damage and what not to do,why it happen and how it happen and how to volid the damage enstead of...

Orange you may need to start rewording as a'temp to teach others either that or laying on ya back watching stars.

Ha Ha Ha!!

Like the news, everyone focuses on the negative I guess...

Common sense tells me when I see the cement giving away, better back off. This guy kept on cutting... I guess this is what the Dukes use to do to Boss Hog and Rasco Pico Train when they would play around in the dirt: Donuts!!

This type of work makes everyone look bad, and I will use it to the best of my ability to prove that I am the better choice. I might cost a little more right up front, but at least you won't have to live with the after effects for as long as you live...

Great Post

I can't help but laugh when I see things like that. It's not that a homeowner or business owner deserves the damage. Just that that's what happens when you try to save a buck and either let or hire an unexpierenced person handle your power washing. Went to the outside deck bar the other night, saw swirls all over their nice deck, you better believe I let them know that it could be evened out and maybe evenl totally eliminated. Sanding is always an option and that means big bucks!!

Again, good post, I also like to see that stuff around.

I went pass this store again the other day and realize what the first pics is: he let the surface cleaner sit in one place to long and etched the cement and then tried to correct it with the fan nozzle!!

A foot away from this spot is an etch in a perfect circle, a surface cleaner circle!! Ha Ha Ha!!

I didn't think any stain was worth removing this badly... Now I know what he was attempting to do: Cover up his tracks!!

Went to wal-mart today and see what looked like pissant trails everywhere,by looking it looked like a 4 gpm #4 0-tip.Whats bad those trails will take a long long long time before you cann't see them anymore unless they clean it down to where the 0-tip cleaned. That will take alot of time and gentless to make it look almost good.A 150,000 home owner or even a 50,000 home owner wouldn't like seeing those trails for years,it gives us all a bad name not just the one that did the damage.A competitor running around doing this type damage needs to be bashed,he would be open season and like Tony said fair game.

Here's a pic of a driveway I did today...It looks like the homeowner or someone they knew tried to clean it with a zero degree tip. The funny thing is, they'd cleaned quite a few areas this way. There were patches like this all over the driveway. Luckily, the concrete wasn't damaged.

I did a house a few weeks back where the owner had borrowed her father's washer, and had cleaned about 15' of 4' wide sidewalk before she gave up and called me. I wish I had a camera that day. Took her several hours. My question is, why do these people keep at it for so long before giving up? If I had been in her shoes, and knew nothing about washing, I'd still have realized this was WAY too big a job for the equipment I had (There was about 200' of sidewalk in front of her house.)
