They are useful but I would be cautious of the mortar in the joints. Thye can literally tear up concrete. A turbo is the best tool I have found for cleaning curbs and next to walls that the surface cleaner can't touch.

They work great but you should always use a in line filter & start them in the downward postion. The tend to be expensive & there is many different types. I've had some that did not last 2-months whle the ones I use now are good for about a year or better.

There is no better tool for moss removal from brick walks. As Larry said, watch the mortar joints. As for a surface cleaner, other than getting hot water, there is no better investment in your business. Its not just about the time savings, but also having drives look even. Make sure the tips on the sc are matched to your machine.

Agree with all of the above! Great tool for smaller concrete areas and cleaning corners & edges. Do any of you guys use hot water when running turbos? I have had problems with this, and assume it's because the ceramics inside swell up when heated. Any ideas? Thanks!

Be careful that you do not tear the glaze off the brick. The outside is hardened, and if you destroy that protection, the inside will fall apart.

It is not a good idea if you rely on pressure alone to clean brick. A pressure washer is an accelerated tool for rinsing rather than a cleaner. Use to much pressure and it will strip, which gives the appearance of clean and new. That is until surface failure sets in.

Here is a project that we did a couple years ago. Paint removal from concrete block. Used 4.5 rotary tips, 200 degrees, 3000 psi.

Yes, rotary nozzles are very usefull!

Be careful using a turbo on brick, especially if you are not profiicent at identifying types of brick. A turbo used haphazardly on a brick wall will leave you with effloresence. It may look good wet, but when it dries and the salts come to the surface after a day or two it will have a white powdery resin that you cannot just rinse away.
