The decks I do are valued in the high thousands and customers want quality gun stock finish. thats what I give them.

What would take a lowballer days to do I can do in hours with better results. And repeats are now my main biz.

Good luck

As others have said they are out there...

In one Adult community I service a group of these nut cakes won a bid to paint the houses 200 plus... They painted well... Then over priced each deck and slopped on sealer so thick it's still wet and sticky to this day! thats four years ago!!!! I won't touch any of the decks in that area. I got the homeowners to file suit they did and won... Problem? The Judge payed them for the cost of the job they did not the thousands to re fix the problem. To this day they have heart redwood decks that are jet black sticky and under the redwoods. Thousand of dollars in wood with out a single knot wrecked.

The each year I get the call someone wrecked my deck I should have waited for you! Well I feel sorry for you... But I'm not interested in sanding out rips 1/2" deep on screwed decks and removing latex stain... I say

One of my regulars called late last year and needed the deck done yesterday... Her husband hired someone that tosses those plastic baggies in drives saying the do everything. Washed the decks with no chem no wood brigtner... Applied Oil stain on a 100 plus day in the sun two coats... Came back and applied Thompson's over that mess you should know whats next... They called I looked and said they destroyed your deck I'm not interested in getting into this now...

They are out there and it's sad really sad at times... It's a crying shame some times... If folks would only take care of there decks like they take care of there cars and lawns we would be in a better place... But when it comes to decks cheap is they way they go???? and of course they want something that will last five years right? Without washing them.... I can't part water yet when I can I will promise that.. :0

Sorry for the ramble

Tim if you don't mind me asking, What kind of sealer, stain are you using? What's the best you have come across? Thanks Tim.
