[Kwik-Clean]

Hello everyone. Im new to this site and have a question. I just purchased a used Epps hot water unit. When I fired it up everything runs fine but the water doesnt get that hot. Max is around 98 degrees. Any suggestions?

PS- This unit is about 4 years old and was used about 10-12 times before being stored for the last 2 years.

It only being used only three times a year there would be several problems to look at.

First make sure all your electrical connections are clean,battery post,grounds,ect.

Is the fan motor turning its rated rpm's,could be bragging.

I'm taking this is a 12v system?

Are you useing the right size nozzel rated for the skid?

Does the burner run a little while and kick off while washing and then kick on again?

Thanks for the help Larry. Yes this is a 12V system. All of the electrical connections are clean and connected properly. The unit stays on the whole time but only but just doesnt get very hot. Ill check out everything else you mentioned tomorrow. Thanks again.

One or two more q'tions...

While the burner is on is it smoking? white or black smoke....is it burning clear/clean?

What type gauge does it have for upping and lowering the temp,is it a inline temp gauge?

I don't think its been used enough for the coils to be cleaned inside or out.


Have you changed the filter?

By it setting up the fuel nozzel could but not likely have blockage.

Make sure the thermostat is turned all the way up.
