Mildew on cotton fabric.

I need some help that is not directly relared to power washing. My wife keeps cushions on the wicker chairs under a covered porch and they are getting mildew because of our high humidity. The cushions are cotton fabric with colored prints and have stuffing in them. I'm afraid to even try a weak solution of chlorine. What can I use that will not take out the color of the fabric? There is no way to remove the cover from the stuffing. I think I need something to spray on and let air dry. Help... or I'll be buying more cushions... real soon.

Harold once you replace those with the new ones spray on Scotch Guard. Do not use the one in the green can, use only the orginal red and white can.

The other one is oily when we did a spot test it changed the color of the material.

Granted it is not as humid here as there so we don't have that problem.

The only other solution I can see is to buy plastic cusions and they are not going to help you much, you will get soaked sitting on those.
