Still a little confused about the X-Jet

Other than delivering chems. to extended heights, does the X-Jet also deliver pressure for rinsing at extended heights? I want to know if it is just for the chem. application, or if it has more use.

I to am looking at getting either a xjet or m5. From what I have read on the net is that is also used for rinsing. I am not sure if it is a high pressure or a low pressure rinse. I belive it will be a low pressure rinse. I have found a site on the net that sells the m5 for $129.00 and the xjet for around $113.00, but I don't know if their is something missing form these packages, because most of them (M5) advertised sell for around $160.00- $170.00. Another question I would liked answered is which tip for a 4000psi/ 3.5gpm rig (13?).

Ed,

The answer is actually.. both. It depends on the distance from the nozzle. It is a very forceful, pressurized spray leaving the tip but it disperses (broadens?) the further you shoot. This is why I am not a fan of using it above 25-30 feet. All you get is a mist.

If you had a 8gpm 3000 psi machine which oriface would you use? If you already have an xjet how can you tell what oriface size it has? What are the problems with using a #9 in a large volume machine?
