Hello guys,
...was giving an estimate on a large deck today with a finish that i could not detect. I applied stripexL to the deck which was successful. The finish was very shiny and felt acrylic. When i applied stripper, it came off in a way that looked like CWF (looked like dead skin peeling off)
I have stripped many CWF decks, and this is not CWF. Does not look like it, and is a different color. I thought it could be sikkens, but I asked the guy what he paid for the job and it could not have been sikkens. Besides, i've never seen a sikkens deck around here and I only know of one store that sells it and they just recently began selling it.
Any thoughts on what this could be?? Definetely looks like some sort of varnish or something, but it appears that stripexL will remove it. I would just like to know what it is. Thanks for any help!
