Thompson's Water...I mean Sealant...

Thompson's has a great marketing campaign!
I just had me second customer in 2 days with a real nice deck request Thompson's...Happened a few times last year...One guy insisted...and thats what he ended up with (He's having me re-do it this year with the good stuff)
But usually after explaining to them that Thompson's voids there warranty from us and as to why it does, they go ahead and o.k. Olympic or Wolman's

Just curious of how much waranty you give to a customer or if you let the products waranty stand alone.

I do let them know the products give from 3 (Olymp. max) to 5 years (Wolman's).
But I personally give them one year...Since the products should last 2 years without any worries.
I do put a clause where I do not cover post, docks and underneath decks. (Mainly anything that touches dirt or water)
