so does stainless steel really have an advantage over brass? i know its heavier and harder but it it really that much more resistant to corrosive chemicals like bleach? also, ive noticed that fittings i buy from different places sometimes dont fit with others of the same size. this has happened...

I just bought some stainless steel quick connects for my wands and they seem a little tougher to connect together. Is there any certain lube you guys use to keep them sliding easier and seizing up? Also is there a big difference between the economy ones and the higher priced ones? thanks
