Been hunting around a lot for a rig setup. Currently will be used for fleet wash, but may have a line on doing sidewalks/building. If it pans out it will be a lot of square footage for an outdoor mall. I am really debating on if I NEED a heated setup to start or if I can get by for a few months with a cold setup. Have a small starting budget ($4k max) so it is limiting my options. Was going to give Mark a call, but might be out of my $ range for the time being.
I had a line on a trailer setup locally, however the seller apparently hasn't paid his phone bill. So this leaves me either building a setup (have a trailer already if needed), or traveling to buy one ready to go (24hr round trip drive).
If I build one, is it better to find a larger pump, or utilizing two smaller units? This will be a two man setup, so would two separate (say 3gpm units) be better then a single unit? Can I get a larger tank (250gal+) and run it into two smaller units (such as a t-tap setup).
Would a trailer be the best route, or would a bed mount system work as well? I would like to lean towards bed mount initially due to ease of getting around into tighter areas. Have a lot of experience with trailers, so if the trailer is the better way then I have no issue with that.
Here are a couple examples I managed to locate.
Local bed mount setup. What would I offer?
Hotsy 3000psi power washer, pressure washer, steamcleaner
Out of state trailer
13HP Honda Pressure Washer w/ utility trailer
If I can get a decent amount of business for a few months, then I can justify building a bigger setup by winter time. Thanks for all the help you guys have given me thus far.
