    Over Spray

I use Wolman F and P now because it is faster to apply and a good product but when I started all I used was CWF-UV cedar or clear. It is a good product and for his situation I believe the right choice. I have done the same thing when there is color that won't come off. 5 months to fail? I...

    <------ NEWBIE. Staining Fence

40 8' sections? If they are 6' high that is 48 sq ft per side, 96 sq ft per panel. 40 x 96 is 3,840 sq ft of fence and if you clean and seal that for $1000 you can come do all my work while I go to the ocean. Figure 150 sq feet per gallon coverage. I guess if you are just spraying it without...

    New Wood question

Just seal the deck and put a very light coat on the new boards. Of course the new ones will look different but I would not let that hold you up. Finish it before too much time goes by.

TREX Decks Starting to show up more and more

Did a Trex this year. Used hypochlorite based deck cleaner and turned out great. Some boards were spaced too close together. They keep their dogs in the enclosed sunroom and there is a screen under the Trex boards so mosquitos cannot get in. I had to pull dog hair out by hand by it paid well.

    Respirator Info

    Water based or Oil based?

Oil sealer I hate masking, and I hate breathing the spray. I only spray lattice if it safe and fences.I wear a high quality double filter respirator, properly fitted. I sealed a raised 12 x 20 townhouse deck, no steps in 2 hours the other day by brush. Windy as hell. I use the "no spraying"...

New untreated deck, wait 12 months ? before sealing ?

NEW WOOD I have used their Seasonite on a few new decks and that stuff does work. It lets the wood dry out evenly the first year but the wood must be clean or the dirt will be trapped. Otherwise remove the mill glaze with cleaner then apply a good sealer. I use Wolman F and P which can be put...

    Removing Mill Glaze

I have good luck with Wolman's powder wood cleaner. It is a pain to use sometimes because of the mixing but for the environment and its cleaning ability I am satisfied. ------------------
