Brick Cleaning Problem. Please Help!

I have a problem in which I need a second opinion. or 3rd.

I have cleaned a secton of a man's brick plated porch with Klenztone 1.

Now after i have went back to the site I noticed how bad it looks.

I was told that this was a chemical reaction with the silicone in the brick and that it would buff out with a 3m sanding disk.

Can I please get some other opinions on this before I break out the JACKHAMMER.

Thank you all in advance for your advise.

I have never heard of that product, for future reference always use a product made specifacally to clean brick work. was this new or old brick. I use products from www.prosoco.com call them or email and send them a picture they will tell you what to do and you can find the nearest dealer to you. I honestly do not feel the buffer idea is gonna work very well and actually may cause more damage.
