Glenn I have seen your Pitch Witch on the Net and I like it. I have got your quote on the Pitch Witch also. I have a few questions for ya. First how do you get the chemical on the roof? Also what chemicals do you recommend? I am curious.
I have ignored this aspect of pressure washing long enough, I get request after request for roofs and figure I need to get on the band wagon before it leaves so to speak.
I dont like getting on roofs because I take a blood pressure pill that affects my balance when on high places so your Pitch Witch intrigues me. Please go into detail if you would on the pricing methods and so forth as I have never considered doing roofs before. Any other info would be appreciated also. [boing]

I have sent 2 to tennessee recently and frankly am having trouble keeping up with demand. At last count I think I have shipped to 13 states including Hawaii. One of the Tennessee units went to Steve Rowlett of Rowlett Pressure Cleaning. His number is 1-800-357-6295, he will be able to give you an unbias opinion and also has purchased a Coress PowerWand so he can give you opinion on that product too. He is located in LaVergne TN, I don't know how far that is from you maybe it is close enough you can drive over to see both products. I addition to Pressure Washing he also manufactures a deck sealer I have ordered and plan to try out this week. It is a clear oil based sealer that he swears by, so don't be surprised if he try's to sell you some. He is a great guy and I know he will give you an honest opinion. The other TN sale went to Knoxville but not sure if that guy would want his # posted. If you have need anymore info just give me a call. I prefer the NewAgain Roof and Deck Cleaner and I have it available also.

Ohh, to get the chemical on the roof I have available a stainless steel chemical injector nozzle made by Cat pumps called the PowerChem nozzle. It connects to the end of your wand and has a 1/4 inch clear tube with strainer that you drop inside a bucket. It will reach 2 story roofs with no problem. The price on these is less than $100.

Funny you would mention that. I just bought back the 2 powerchem nozzles I sold. Before recommending these nozzles I called the tech dept. at Cat Pums and was quoted draw rates up to 25 %. I have found out today that the guy meant maximum draw of .25 gallons per minute which on a 5 gallon machine is not much at all @ 20 to 1. So, to make things right I am buying those units back and have since contacted Ron in regards to the X-jet nozzle. I thought by recommending a cheaper version I would save my customers some money, but instead have learned a hard lesson. According to Ron, the X-jet will draw chem at a rate up to 1.6 to 1 depending on your machine gpm. The 4 to 1 my customers need should be no problem for this nozzle. I hope to have these available very soon at a competetive price. Some of you may remember Ron as he was a sponsor here a few months back.
