Carwash help?

I recently was approached to wash a carwash. It's a fairly large one and it's full of black slime but I know it'll be fairly easy to take off with a good degreaser. There's also a good amount of metal in the c-wash also full of slime. I was wondering if anyone has done these jobs before and would know a rough price range for it. Like I said, as c-washes go, it's a fairly large one, the type you get pulled through on a rail and it's pretty dirty. Another question, Is there any chemical I could use to get the metal parts of the machine back to there original condition, besides the basic degreasing part. Any help is appreciated. thanx

Well, that slime is a mother to get off. It is probably calcium and will require an acid to remove it. If you really think that you can do it with a degreaser, then you need to do a couple of test spots first in order to verify it.

I would only do this on a time and materials basis, with a not to exceed amount. It would probably be somewhere around 2-3 days work.

Yes, they can get that nasty.

Its alive it lives be ware of the black slime monster that lives under the black slime somestimes its under shell is as hard as nails as it slowly died while making soft slime.May have to whip out your super turbo slime buster on the metal parts, then again it could be as easy as 1 2 3 with hotwater alone.Take a putty knive and scrape the slime in several different area's to see what its like under the soft slime. This will help in trying to come up with a figure as what to charge in chemicals and time.

I did wipe it off with my hand and it was only soft black slime and it came right off down to the wall with one wipe. My only problem is I don't have hot water. I like the idea of the timed price and I'll probably have to test it out before I figure everything out. Thanx for the help.
