Hey guys, its been a while since I have been online and I am in my second year of refurbishing decks. I am starting to do a house for a freind and was just needing to know what would be the best way to go about charging him. It is a single story house that he treated with a clear Thompson's seal (no need to laugh). I don't want to charge by the hour so I was just wondering if it should be done as a linear feet or square footage. First house that I will ever be doing ,and maybe the last- lol:). Just any help would be appreciated.

Pricing

I work for myself as well as a construction company and we charge .25 sf for powerwashing, thats in Houston,Tx though and may not work in your area.

Good luck with it,
Aland

LOL! You are ripping off your customers, anything over 20cents on wood is too high, we are at 9cents per sq.ft.......and getting rich!!

We offer .01 - unless you are a seinor, then you get 10% off of that!

Lowballers like MPW in Michigan are what restrict this business:) For him to make money at a penny a foot to restore a cedar home, he must not have insurance. ....and at that price, he must use Thompson's:)
