Cleaing / Sealing Non-Uniform Aggregate

Bidding on a commercial job. Property Management Co wants me to clean and seal exposed aggregate sidewalk area around community building and pool house. Some of walk is 20 years old, some is a couple of months old. Concrete on older part appears to be brown based, new stuff gray based. Co wants me to seal to give gloss finish. Your advice would be appreciated:
1. To achieve gloss, plan on using acrylic based sealer. Agree?
2. Would you use a pigmented sealant? Typically you can use clear, brown tinted, or gray tinted.
3. Close to pool area is it possible to add sand or something to improve traction (although this is exposed gravel, would like to offer something in addition to reduce slipping if possible).
Thanks.

Stay with color suitable (brown for peagravel, grey for gravel),A good Acrylic sealer (NOT sold at HD) for outstanding results use 30% thick tinted acrylic sealer, and roll it on with 1 & 1/4 inch thick nap rollars, expect to use a gallon every 150 sq. ft. and 1 rollor nap every 2-300 sq ft. very nice B4&after pics.
