I have a customer with a cedar deck,who wants to use a clear stain.I explained to him that you need some kind of color(pigment)to get true protection from light.I am trying to sell him ready seal.Which ready seal color is the lightest?If it comes down to the clear what kind should i use.Thanks ahead....

I believe color gold is the lightest.Always after explaining the benefits between color and uv protection versus clear ,they change their mind.I always tell it will turn grey in 6 month .Suggest them light brown,very natural color,it will make deck look same color if it was wet.
