consumer affairs not doing the right thing

Just got off the phone with consumer affairs to complain about these lowballers with no licence and insurance only to be told that my area no longer requires a licence to powerwash...I AM PISSED, they told me a licence is needed to paint or stain. Correct me if I am wrong but I think more damage can be done with a powerwasher than a paint brush !!! so that means that any wannabee can LEGALLY powerawash with out the the fear of getting caught. maybe when the director of comsumer affairs gets his property damaged by a uninsured powerwasher they will require it again.:(

i understand your feelings.
One thing i will say, most insurance co. dont cover the surface your actually cleaning.
If you rip off paint from a truck your washing, it's not covered.
If a hose burst's and slap's a truck and the paint scrapes off, then your covered.
Some do have coverage for both but you should check.
