Cuprinol / Deckscapes

PUtting in a proposal for decks that are sealed with Cuprinol. It doesn't look like the decks were washed before sealer was applied. There's a ton of drip marks and 'pools' of sealer below the rails and on the floor.

Of course, the proposal will include stripping. Tried to get in touch with Cuprinol (Sherwin Williams). Our local store stated it was replaced with Deckscapes.

Any feedback on Deckscapes? Is it the same as Cuprinol? Anyone ever use the stuff? Is it comparable to Olympic clear sealer?

Deckscapes

We started using deckscapes this year. Apparently it is the same as cuprinol. Anyways, we are having great success with it. The only color that seems to have the problems is Redwood. Always darker then the actual color chart.

We have also ventured into using HVLP sprayers. I must say, we should have been using them a long time ago. Virtually saves us on stain cost. A deck that we would normally do by hand with 10 gallons only takes about 7-8 with the HVLP. I recommend everyone to try one.

Just my two cents..........
