Does this happen to you?

You are sealing the last five boards of the deck when you hear the garage door open and see the customer speeding away and the garage door shut.It seems like this happens twice a week and it really ticks me off.I come back later that evening instead of leaving a bill,but it is just inconvenient and it happens all the time.

I usually park in their driveway so they can't get out.

We park right in back of their car or garage...that way they have to ask to leave and we always bring up the matter of payment.

In most cases no one is home, and we have the check waiting for us in an envelope. If not, we leave a payment envelope and a note. In most cases it works. We only have a couple that are outstanding right now.

Rod has come across the ones that speed off too, and he has come to the point of reminding them face to face before he starts sealing, so they don't go speeding off or "forget"....
